Red Bull | Der lange Weg: 20.03.2018 – day 4 – Talstation Wurzeralm
Today the team #redbullderlangeweg drove to Admont, which is about 20 km away. There they are accompanied by another guide for the 45 km long stage to the Wurzeralm valley station with about 2200 vertical meters.
The further route leads the athletes to the Wurzeralm and then on to the Taublitz, followed by Bad Mitterndorf to the destination Ödensee. It is about 55 – 60 kilometers. Tamara Lunger is with the physiotherapist and will later join the group at today’s destination. At Red Bull The Long Way, each athlete has a “Joker” distance of 64 kilometers, in TOTAL they are allowed to drive by car! Why 64 km? The 1971 team also covered this route by car.
Status Day 4: 204 km / 10 680 vertical meters & amp; 43 hours 43 minutes (and a few bubbles).
